Château de Chatenay
The Challenge
Château de Chatenay, a boutique hospitality property, was questioning its communication strategy and art direction. The current positioning no longer seemed to reflect the venue's standing or the target clientele's expectations.
The owner needed an expert outside perspective — not to execute, but to analyze, compare, and recommend. A pure consulting engagement, no production, to inform a strategic decision.
The central question: is the current art direction up to standard? If not, what should the alternative look like?

We conducted a structured audit of the existing assets: visual identity, website, materials, communication tone. Each element evaluated against luxury hospitality sector standards.
In parallel, a targeted market and competitive study — comparable château hotels, sector visual trends, codes expected by premium clientele. This benchmark laid the groundwork for recommendations.
We prototyped a new art direction to enable direct comparison with the existing one. The final presentation argued each recommendation with market data, not opinions. The client adopted the new direction.
The Approach
The results.
A pure consulting engagement: no production, only analysis and prototyping. The new art direction was adopted by the client, validating the comparative approach proposed.
